You'll be joining a dynamic and highly skilled enterprise architecture team that has broad influence across TELUS and contributes significantly to key technology architectural decisions, software designs, and governance. This role will have extensive visibility and impact at an enterprise level.

As a Senior Developer Analyst with the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Developer Starterkit and Developer Portal content. The successful delivery will guide and support software development across the organization enabling high-functioning, innovative, data-driven, customer-centric, reliable, and consistent experiences for TELUS customers.

    •Collaborate with senior software engineers and platform architects to enable the future vision and implementation of key capabilities using cloud platforms

    •Employ best practices in software development, security, reliability, accessibility, and design to achieve the highest quality of material to enable the development communities

    •Design and implement fit for purpose requirements for stakeholders


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

    •Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or related discipline

    •5+ years related experience

    •Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices

    •Ability to interview and understand end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems and/or usability issues

    •Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies

    •Self-motivated and excellent collaboration

    •Working knowledge in designing and documenting APIs (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI Spec)

    •Working knowledge in front-end development (ES2018 JavaScript, React, CSS)

    •Working knowledge in backend development (Node.js, Java, PostgreSQL, Redis)

    •Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools (Terraform)

    •Working knowledge with container technologies (Kybernetes) and source control tools ( Github)

Great-to-have

    •Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar)

    •Experience with client-side testing best practices and tooling (Jest)

    •Experience with Web/HTTP security controls (CORS, CSP, TLS, etc.)

    •Knowledge of Python in production environments and API development
