Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Cloud Shared Services Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to implement and operate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines as part of the overall TELUS Health - Cloud Platform. You will implement and operate the overall TELUS Health - Cloud Shared Services with specific work towards automation, monitoring, configuration management, security and availability. This is a 24x7 on-call position and will require you to be able to work in this environment.

Here's how
    •Build, manage and maintain Shared Services as part of the TELUS Health - Cloud Platform •Build, manage and maintain CI/CD Pipelines as part of the TELUS Health - Cloud Platform •Create and keep up to date applicable operational documentation •Provide guidance and technical experience as a subject matter expert (SME) to teams moving new products into the TELUS Health - Shared Services/Pipelines •Ensure that all operational aspects of work adhere to TELUS Health - Cloud Security guidelines & policies


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university •5 years of experience •Experienced in deploying applications into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment with a strong focus on full automation •Expert level experience in CI/CD Pipelines in Cloud based environments •Good understanding of configuration management and hands-on experience with common configuration management tools •Understanding of Pipeline related technologies including; source control, trouble ticketing, and artifact management •Expert knowledge of AWS including: Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Relational Database Service (RDS), Systems Manager (SSM), Lambda, CloudFormation •Expert knowledge of Jenkins Automation Server •Expert knowledge of build tools including gradle, maven & rake •Advanced level of expertise with Puppet tools •Solid skillset in a variety of operating systems (OS) including Linux distributions & Microsoft (MS) Windows, hands-on system administrator skillset •Solid foundational development skills in Java, Node.js, Python & Groovy •Demonstrated skills in scripting including but not limited to Linux: bash, PowerShell, Python

    •Puppet Certified Professional designation •AWS certification •Experience with Atlassian: Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira & Confluence •Experience working with large scale log management tools such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stacks or Splunk •Degree of knowledge and experience with systems monitoring tools such as Nagios, Datadog •Experience working with single sign-on (SSO) systems such as Okta, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Open Authorization (OAuth) •Knowledge relating to AWS Pipelines: CodePipeline, CodeDeploy •Experience and/or understanding of container technologies including Docker, AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS)/Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift •MS Active Directory & Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) knowledge & experience
