The Ledger Reporting team is part of eCommerce Financial Integration (eCFI) org which has been entrusted with creating the Data Platform that houses and shares all the data that is being generated within the eCFI ecosystem. To emphasize on the scale, just one of the sources of data for Ledger Reporting produces 2TB of data every one hour. Combine this with the requirements of low SLA, 100% completeness guarantees and, changing schemas of the incoming data and multiple downstream consumers. Amazon's Accounting Ledgers relies on this system to accurately calculate the financial numbers that are finally used for reporting and official balance and tax statements. The system is being built on latest AWS technologies while also challenging the paradigms os data processing and distribution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems
• Strong communications skills
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional business and software development teams.
