We're seeking an experienced Project Manager/Municipal Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering group in Whitehorse, Yukon. You'll lead municipal water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects for public and private clients, including planning, design, and construction services. As a key member of our team, you'll work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver solutions that matter.
This is a Whitehorse-based position. We welcome applicants from across Canada and offer relocation assistance to help you settle in.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager/Municipal Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering group in Whitehorse, Yukon. You'll lead municipal water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects for public and private clients, including planning, design, and construction services. As a key member of our team, you'll work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver solutions that matter.

Your Impact
- Deliver innovative municipal infrastructure solutions from concept through construction, ensuring projects meet client expectations and community needs.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to design and implement water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway systems that enhance quality of life.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to navigate complex requirements and achieve successful outcomes.
- Champion business development initiatives and contribute to proposals that expand WSP's presence in the North.
- Oversee construction services, including site reviews, reporting, and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Travel up to 30 days annually to Yukon's unique communities, supported by the maximum live-out allowance possible.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A degree in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer designation (or eligibility) with Engineers Yukon.
- 5+ years of experience in municipal project planning and design, with proven success in project delivery and client relationship management.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff while fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Expertise in technical writing for proposals, reports, and design documentation.
- Familiarity with Yukon clients, including First Nation governments, Yukon Government, and municipalities.
- Experience with project management principles and tools is an asset.
