As a Real Estate Transactions Manager, you'll drive the strategic execution of our corporate real estate activities across Canada. Your work will directly shape WSP's workplace experience, optimize value, and support our teams nationwide. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with business leaders, brokers, and cross-functional partners to advance high-impact real estate initiatives.
Your Impact
  • Understand business requirements 18-36 months ahead of lease expiries to support strategies that elevate employee experience while balancing and optimizing costs.
  • Assist with leasing, subleasing, and property dispositions to ensure alignment with business, client, and shareholder interests.
  • Partner with brokerage firms to negotiate business terms for commercial real estate including office, industrial, land, parking, and storage/warehouse.
  • Support execution and tracking of acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate transaction documentation, timelines, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with internal partners (business, legal, finance, IT, others) to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for leadership on transaction status and pipeline.
  • Assist with due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
  • Liaise with brokers, landlords, and third-party vendors to maintain timely deal flow.
  • Monitor critical dates to avoid missed notices, renewals, extensions, or option deadlines.
  • Adapt to dynamic priorities and communicate risks or concerns clearly to senior executives.
  • Travel as required to understand local market conditions and business needs.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate transactions, leasing, or coordination roles.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to summarize issues for executives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or MRI is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enrollment in or possession of a real estate designation (e.g., MCR) is an asset.
  • Multilingual abilities in French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese are an asset.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
  • MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
