Shape the World Around You - As part of our Environmental Management team in Whitehorse, you'll help shape the future of environmental solutions across Canada's North. You'll work on projects that protect sensitive ecosystems, support responsible resource development, and create lasting benefits for northern communities. In this university student role, you'll turn classroom learning into real-world impact alongside experienced environmental engineers and scientists.
Your Impact
- Assist in environmental assessments and monitoring programs for infrastructure and resource projects;
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to meet regulatory and client requirements;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges;
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects that advance sustainability and resilience.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Currently enrolled in an Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science program at an accredited university;
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, impact assessments, and sustainability principles;
- Comfortable working in field conditions and committed to safety standards;
- Proficient in tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, or data analysis software;
- Passionate about protecting the environment and contributing to meaningful projects.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25
- MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $21.50 - $30.25
